Amber King, Founder/CEO
Amber King is a lifelong educator, visionary leader, and passionate disciple-maker with more than twenty years of experience in public education. After seven years as a high school language arts teacher and thirteen years as a middle school principal, Amber sensed a growing calling from God—one that stretched far beyond the limits of the traditional school system. For nearly a decade, the vision for Eternal Impact Academy lived quietly in a Google Doc, waiting for God’s timing. In 2025, God made it unmistakably clear: “It’s time.” And the movement began.
Throughout her years in public education, Amber earned statewide and national recognition. She was named Principal of the Year in 2018, led her school to be recognized on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. in 2019, and helped her school become one of the first STEM-accredited middle schools in Indiana in 2021. These accomplishments confirmed her God-given gifts in leadership, school culture, and vision-casting. But Amber knew that talent unspent for God’s glory is talent wasted, and that conviction propelled her to step fully into the calling He placed on her life.
Amber’s passion is raising a generation of students who are rooted in Scripture, confident in truth, and prepared to influence culture for Christ. Through the Rooted and Ready Curriculum and the Kingdom Tracks Program—two discipleship-centered frameworks developed through years of prayer, study, and obedience—she is committed to shaping leaders with biblical wisdom, courage, and integrity.
Her leadership flows naturally from her home life, where faith, mission, and family are woven together. Amber is married to her wonderful husband, Neil King, who leads the missions organization Matthew 4:4 Ministries, and together they are raising four incredible children—ages 19, 17, 15, and 3. Their home is lively, joyful, and grounded in the belief that God equips families to change the world. Amber is also an active member at Lanesville Christian Church where she worships, leads, and serves within her amazing church family.
A lifelong sports fan, Amber brings her love of athletics into the heart of Eternal Impact Academy and Eternal Impact Athletics. She is a dedicated Chicago Cubs supporter and a loyal IU Hoosiers fan, and she believes that sports are one of the most powerful platforms for discipleship, leadership formation, and cultural influence.
Amber and her family live in Southern Indiana, just outside Louisville, Kentucky, where Eternal Impact Academy will launch as a model school for Christian leaders across the nation. She moves forward with full faith, trusting that God has already prepared the people, partners, and supporters needed to bring this vision to life—and believing that, in His perfect timing, they will reach out and join the mission He has begun.
